Timekeeping Associate
Responsibilities
- Process Timesheets, exception events, timekeeping transactions and other adjustments in CityTime.
- Track all Timesheets for final approved status and required supporting documentation for requested leaves.
- In CityTime, set up new employees, create and maintain schedules, process and maintain the approval tree.
- In CityTime, create/cease new consultants.
- Submit and follow up on Remedy tickets related to CityTime and Timekeeping and password reset.
- Generate supplemental paycheck and pay out leave balances.
- Process LWOPs for anticipatory week.
- Perform customer service functions that relate to the processing of time and leave for agency employees.
- Ensure agency compliance with citywide time and leave policies and contractual agreements.
- Afford assistance in training new employees and supervisors in CityTime applications.
- Prepare and update reports and special assignments as required.
Hours/Shift
Due to the necessary duties of this position in a 24/7 operation, candidate may be required to work various shifts such as weekends and/or nights/evenings.

Minimum Qualifications
- A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
- Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
Skills Requirement
- Knowledge of CityTime, PMS, RM0S and CHRMS.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- Excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent telephone skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Skills
- Timekeeping, Payroll or Personnel experience.

New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment.
