About the role

This hybrid position (3 days in office, 2 days remote) is ideal for a highly motivated individual looking to jumpstart their career as a Tier 1/2 IT Support Specialist and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and troubleshooting of complicated issues on the Helpdesk.
  • Deliver high-level customer service consistent with IT best practices.
  • Assist with end-user system deployments and upgrades.
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Develop documentation for new and existing workflows.
  • Assist with testing new software, service packs, and patches.
  • Occasional travel may be required as needed.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in a computer-related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of IT support experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based client operating systems.
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Working knowledge of the Open System Interconnection (OSI) model.
  • Ability to diagnose problems, perform repairs on IT assets, and provide support for a wide range of applications.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and efficient working environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in teams, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Openness to learning and developing new skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Virtual Server Infrastructure Systems (Hyper-V and Citrix).
  • SharePoint Administration experience (preferred but not required).

Pay

Starting pay range for this position depends on skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
