Ticket Sales Representative

About the role

Our ideal Ticket Sales Representatives have a passion for helping people and making their vacation experience a memorable one. A sincere love of history and the culture of our city is required. You will effectively sell the appropriate tour package to guests based on knowledge of our products, pricing, and the content of all ticket packages in order to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone you meet with a smile and prompt service, extending courtesy, friendliness, and hospitality.
• Give every guest the ultimate compliment of recognition and attention, guiding them to the best offerings based on their interests and time in the city.
• Be knowledgeable and passionate about our products and the most popular things to do at each trolley stop.
• Utilize exceptional sales skills, including a strong sales pitch, prospecting, handling objections, cross-selling, upselling, and closing the deal.
• Present the cost of tours and attractions based on the company's pricing system.
• Work independently over long periods within the scope of established rules to satisfy guest needs.
• Handle money, credit cards, and cash receipts accurately.
• Give full attention to what guests are saying, taking time to understand their points, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrable sales skills.
• Excellent math skills.
• Ability to work with money, credit cards, and cash receipts.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and substance abuse testing.
