Thought Leader Liaison (South Central)

We are seeking a Thought Leader Liaison (South Central) for a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This remote role focuses on building and executing thought‑leader and key‑opinion‑leader engagement strategies that support specialty clinical and commercial objectives. The position partners closely with marketing and field teams to gather market insights, shape compliant messaging, and strengthen relationships across the assigned region. It also identifies, vets, and supports speakers while ensuring engagement plans align with scientific and business priorities.

Location: Remote – US‑based candidates only (no visa sponsorship available).

Compensation

$162,000 – $211,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Leverage insights to implement key opinion leader engagement and account strategy.
• Collaborate with marketing on key opinion leader recruitment for initiatives.
• Collect and analyze key opinion leader sentiment and market trends.
• Ensure effective and compliant message delivery.
• Enlist thought leaders for commercial support of the company's product portfolio.
• Identify and vet promotional speakers with field partners.
• Assist with training and contracting of promotional speakers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Life Sciences; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of related marketing experience in specialty or rare disease.
• Strong scientific acumen in specialty clinical medicine.
• Proven leadership and high‑performance history.
• Expertise in building and sustaining business relationships.
• Experience executing engagement plans with key opinion leaders.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
