About the role
The Orthopaedic Center is looking for a highly motivated Call Center Specialist. This opening is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls to the call center in a timely manner.
- Communicate professionally, both orally and in writing for clear, legible messages.
- Communicate effectively with patients and all incoming/outgoing callers.
- Direct calls appropriately by transferring and/or taking detailed messages.
- Schedule appointments according to physician profiles.
- Some insurance/billing.
- Absorb and assist with any other task assigned.
Qualifications
- Education required: HS/GED
- Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: ROT or CCMA certification required by first 90 days of employment
- Experience: Multi-lined phone experience preferred.
- Customer Service Representative experience preferred.
- Some insurance/billing experience preferred
