Therapist - SIGN ON BONUS

Therapist position offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus ($500 at start, $500 at 90 days, $1,000 at 6 months—requires good standing).

About the Role

Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or designee, this position works to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families served. This role involves close collaboration with youth, family, foster parents, and community partners, providing counseling or therapy, advocacy, and support toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in the community.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional non-traditional evening or weekend hours.

Pay

$60,000 annually, depending on experience, education, and licensure.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports, represents, and extends the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Provides appropriate individual, group, and family mental health services, case management, transportation, and other professional services, meeting or exceeding established outcomes thresholds.
• Travels daily to provide community-based services to, and on behalf of, youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements.
• Consistently achieves established productivity thresholds.
• Coordinates and monitors services for youth and families in the community, including mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services.
• Regularly reviews and modifies youth-based plans to ensure consistent progress and success on written plan goals.
• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with assigned foster parents and families of origin.
• Assists in family reunification and/or stabilization efforts with the youth’s primary family or other permanent living arrangements consistent with the youth’s case plan.
• Provides safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required to ensure safety and stability for youth served.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work or a comparable human services field from an accredited institution.
• Two years of work experience in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and a good driving record.
• Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in service of foster caregivers, families of origin, and persons served.
• Capacity to remain objective and professional in all areas of job function.
• Demonstrates tolerance and respect for the ideas and actions of others.
• Ability to effectively work with and be respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds.
• Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones, tablets, printers, fax machines, and photocopiers, as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
• Must maintain automobile liability insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000.
