About the role
As a Therapist at Legacy Community Health, you will provide high-quality psychotherapy to patients with identified behavioral health needs. Your compassion, clinical expertise, and commitment to client-centered care will help clients navigate biopsychosocial stressors and move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives. You will join a collaborative healthcare team focused on communication, thoughtful treatment planning, and whole-person care. You will work closely with clients, physicians, and other providers so behavioral health services are connected to each person’s broader healthcare needs.
You’ll find meaning in this role by providing psychotherapy that directly supports the behavioral health and well-being of community members; serving patients experiencing a range of biopsychosocial stressors; applying a variety of psychotherapeutic modalities, with a strong emphasis on effective treatment for childhood disorders; developing collaborative, client-centered interventions and treatment plans with clients, physicians, and other providers; supporting preventive healthcare by interviewing and advising patients regarding health and illness prevention, including FQHC-required voluntary family planning services; continuing growing through learning related to therapeutic techniques, theories, and research, supported by regular clinical supervision; contributing your clinical perspective to an integrated healthcare ecosystem where teamwork makes a difference.
