Therapist - Respiratory Registered - Weekend Night

Role Overview The Respiratory Therapist provides critical respiratory care, applying advanced clinical skills and judgment. They assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and evaluate outcomes. The role includes delivering patient and family education, collaborating with healthcare teams, and supporting quality improvement initiatives. Clinical leadership and promoting ongoing learning are key components of the position. Qualifications & Skills Current state license and RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care.Recent clinical experience in various settings such as hospitals, home care, or skilled nursing facilities.Hospital and departmental orientation completion.Basic computer literacy, including Windows OS and Microsoft Office.CPR certification required within 14 days of hire; ACLS preferred. Key Duties Assess and evaluate patients to determine respiratory needs.Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.Administer prescribed medications and therapies.Educate patients, families, and colleagues on respiratory health and treatments.Collaborate with healthcare team members and provide clinical leadership.Support ongoing professional development and complete assigned goals.
