Therapist - Outpatient Assessment Services

Multi-faceted position providing outpatient therapy and comprehensive needs assessments for adults and/or children with mental health and/or substance use disorders.

About the role

This position is ideal for recent graduates of accredited graduate schools in counseling or social work, offering a great opportunity to build clinical skills. License-eligible candidates must register with their respective state board and will receive weekly clinical supervision toward obtaining licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient therapy to adults and/or children with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
• Complete comprehensive needs assessments.

Requirements

• Licensure eligibility or licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state of Virginia.
• License-eligible candidates must register with their respective state board.
• Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness (SMI), serious emotional disturbance (SED), at-risk populations, and/or substance use disorders is ideal.
• Willingness to consent to background checks, including checks for barrier crimes, and drug screening as part of the application process.
