Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Assess patients' needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide counseling and support using evidence-based techniques
- Educate patients about their mental health and treatment options
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions
- Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate care
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality
- Participate in continuing education to stay updated on best practices
- Report and document suspected cases of abuse and neglect
- Communicate assertively and accurately
- Support changes in staffing/scheduling assignments
- Participate in clinical initiatives and projects
- Ensure patient and facility safety
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, or Family Therapy from an accredited school
- Experience in health care and psychiatric settings preferred
- In-training licensure as LPC-IT, MFT-TL, APSW or equivalent in state practicing
- Substance use credentialing required if applicable
- Knowledge of therapeutic intervention and techniques for all age groups
- Compliance with RCC and CBRF training and certifications
Qualifications
- Current and active driver's license for residential programs (preferred)
- Compliance with regulatory requirements governing the program(s)

Pay
$10,000.00 retention bonus available for fully licensed therapists
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours/week

Therapists work in an acute care setting that includes inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and/or intensive outpatient services.
