Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual therapy, group therapy, and family sessions as assigned.
- Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups in accordance with program curriculum.
- Document all clinical services accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Participate in treatment team meetings and coordinate with medical, case management, and recovery support staff.
- Monitor client progress and update treatment goals based on clinical observations and feedback.
- Maintain compliance with state licensing, payer, and accreditation documentation standards.
- Respond to clinical crises and escalate concerns to the Clinical Director when appropriate.
- Attend supervision and clinical training sessions as required by licensure and organizational standards.
- Provide culturally competent and trauma-informed care to diverse populations.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Active licensure or licensure candidate in Texas (LPC, LPC-Associate, LMFT, LMFT-Associate, LCSW, LMSW, LCDC or LCDC-Intern, Licensed Psychologist) is required.
- A strong understanding of substance use disorders, co-occurring conditions, and trauma-based interventions is preferred.
- Prior experience in residential, PHP, or IOP treatment settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation protocols is required.

The Therapist is responsible for delivering direct therapeutic services to clients in a residential or outpatient program setting. This includes individual, group, and family therapy sessions, treatment planning, clinical documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
