About the role

Valley Youth House is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and strengthening the lives of children, youth, and families through inclusive programming that builds resilience and fosters growth and independence. The agency operates from a Trauma Informed / Healing Centered perspective, integrating positive youth and human development, and cultural awareness into all its operations.

Essential Functions

• Provide direct, in-person services according to established program timeframes and protocols.
• Offer individual, parent, and family group counseling services in client homes, schools, and other settings as appropriate within the context of outreach services and according to treatment plans.
• Complete and submit required clinical documentation in a professional manner within established program expectations and timeframes.
• Conduct child/adolescent and parent intake interviews and their subsequent dictation according to established program timeframes and protocol.
• Achieve stated treatment goals with assigned youth or families as identified by program expectations.

Minimal Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a human service discipline OR enrolled in a human service Master's program.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to meet clients in the community (mileage compensation).

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
• Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
• Constantly driving to client's home if eligible.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $26.50 per hour to $28 per hour.
