About the role

Join the McNabb Center in Claiborne, Cocke, Hamblen & Sevier Counties, Tennessee. We are hiring master's-level therapists and counselors to fulfill our mission of “Improving the lives of the people we serve.” Positions are available for those fully licensed or working toward licensure, with opportunities for career growth and licensure support.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Services: Conduct assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing therapy for individuals and families in clinical and community-based settings, serving children, youth, and adults.
• Crisis Services: Provide immediate assessment, stabilization, and short‑term intervention for individuals in acute mental health or behavioral crises; coordinate aftercare resources.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to travel as needed for caseload, on‑call expectations, and population served.
• PRN and part‑time availability considered; PRN rates vary by position.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
• Licensed or license‑eligible (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) – licensure‑track professionals receive free clinical supervision.
• Interest in supervision opportunities; the center pays clinicians to provide supervision to others.

Pay

• Outpatient Services: Starting base salary $51,137 – $55,685 per year.
• Crisis Services: Starting base salary $57,958 per year.
• Shift differentials paid for evening and overnight shifts.
• PRN rates vary by position.

Schedule

• Shift options: 4:00 PM–12:00 AM and 12:00 AM–8:00 AM.
• Shift differentials apply to these shifts.
