Responsibilities
- Biopsychosocial and intake assessments
- Initial safety/soothing plan development, documentation, consultation and debriefing with family
- Individual therapy utilizing evidence-based practice
- Group therapy
- Familial therapy with family of origin or natural supports utilizing evidence-based practice
- Daily face-to-face contact and “check-in” with each youth
- Attend & direct monthly treatment team meetings
- Model and train the utilization of the Nurtured Heart Approach with all milieu staff
- Provide on-going clinical case management services
- Document all pertinent case information
- Maintain client records in EHR
- Attend and participate in treatment team meetings
- Develop treatment and discharge plans
- Facilitate necessary service linkages and referrals
- Aid in the development of relevant staff training programs
Qualifications
- An earned Master’s Degree in clinical social work, psychology, sociology or its equivalent; LSW or LAC required; LPC or LCSW strongly preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the provision of youth mental health services
- Valid Driver's License in good standing required
- Familiarity of the Nurtured Heart Approach preferred
