About the role

We are looking for a Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team! Established in 2002, Children's Therapy Services is locally owned, located in Overland Park, Kansas and now in Mission, Kansas. We provide a variety of therapy services including speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, developmental and behavioral therapy, sensory therapy, social skills instruction, early reading skills, dyslexia intervention, parent education, and play therapy to over 7000 families in the Kansas City Metro.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting evaluations and individual therapy sessions
  • Parent training on PT goals and progress
  • Collaborate with Occupational and Speech Therapists to identify ways to improve patient outcomes

Schedule

Hours can be flexible, but are the same weekly once set. Growing a caseload- referrals are coming often and current OTs are full! 30 - 60 minute sessions back to back with breaks included as needed and dependent on amount of time worked per day. 60 sessions (30 hours) per week is considered full but can do more if desired income is greater, 1:1 sessions with a child. Parents can attend, zoom in and watch, or wait outside.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must be licensed as an DPT or equivalent
  • Candidates must have good computer skills and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Candidates must have pediatric experience and comfortable talking to parents
  • Must have KS license and MO license for teletherapy purposes
