Responsibilities

• Prepare, check, and maintain anaesthetic equipment to ensure safe and effective use
• Assist the anaesthetist during a wide range of surgical procedures
• Maintain high standards of care while monitoring patients throughout anaesthesia
• Support patients across their perioperative journey, ensuring safety and comfort
• Collaborate with the wider theatre team across multiple specialities

Requirements

• Current HCPC registration as an Operating Department Practitioner
• Proven experience working within a theatre environment
• Post qualification experience in anaesthetics
• Anaesthetics qualification
• A proactive, adaptable approach with a commitment to high standards of patient care
