Position Highlights & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthetic care, including preoperative evaluation, intraoperative management, and postoperative care
• Serve as a resource to Anesthesia Advanced Practice Providers (CRNA or Anesthesiologist Assistant) to ensure safe and effective anesthesia services
• Collaborate with the anesthesia care team to provide 24/7 anesthesia coverage
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and clinical workflows
• Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Active Georgia medical license (or eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure)
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in general anesthesia (newer physicians with relevant training are encouraged to apply)
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
