The Range | Duty Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Duty Manager to join our team at Kingfisher Shopping Centre, Redditch. As Duty Manager, you will support the day-to-day operation of the store, ensuring excellent customer service standards are maintained and helping to lead and motivate the team to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support the management team with the daily running of the store
• Supervise and motivate team members during shifts
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer queries
• Ensure the store is well-presented, stocked, and operating efficiently
• Assist with staff training and development
• Monitor sales performance and help achieve store targets
• Manage cash handling and till procedures
• Open and close the store when required
• Maintain health and safety standards throughout the store

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing environment
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to lead by example and inspire colleagues
• A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
