The Market Grocery Associate Full-Time

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local producers and regional vendors.
• Source high-quality local and specialty products while managing everyday grocery inventory.
• Negotiate pricing, coordinate deliveries, and monitor product availability.
• Analyze sales trends and customer demand to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with store level management to plan seasonal promotions and showcase local products.
• Ensure shelves are stocked with fresh, high-quality merchandise that meets our customers' expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in grocery buying, retail purchasing, inventory management, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with Catapult Point of Sale system is a plus.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and customer-focused.
