The Market Grocery Associate Part-Time

Summary

The Market at Pineland Farms is seeking a part-time grocery associate for a year-round position. We will not be hiring seasonal staff for this role. This position includes stocking shelves, working with local vendors, and assisting customers. Team members will also learn the point-of-sale system and occasionally help at checkout. We are looking for someone available 2–3 days per week for 12–18 hours weekly, including Saturdays.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Stock shelves.
• Communicate with vendors.
• Aid customers with product questions and other inquiries.
• Price and tag products.
• Unload deliveries.
• Utilize POS system for customer checkout process

Supervisory Responsibilities

None.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn the point-of-sale system.
• Ability to complete required workplace training.

Education and Experience

• Knowledge of basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
