Full-Time Grocery Associate

About the role

Kimberton Whole Foods in Malvern is hiring a career-minded, full-time Grocery Associate to work 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday, with a mix of opening and closing shifts. Saturday shift is required. Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all customers.
• Receive and stock all dry goods, ready-to-drink beverages, household items, and bulk products.
• Stock and handle products following guidelines for time and temperature demands.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department.
• Assist the front end by scanning customers’ groceries and completing transactions efficiently.
• Carefully and efficiently bag groceries.

Physical Capabilities

• Full sense range (vision, hearing, and sense of smell) to read product labels, distinguish colors, and ensure quality control.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Lifting, gripping, and carrying objects up to 50–75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools, and other products.
• Stooping, squatting, and kneeling to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
• Walking short distances to retrieve items from various areas.
• Prolonged standing.
• Ability to work in cold environments (coolers, freezers, backstock areas) and handle cold products regularly.
• Work environment is movement-based, with most time spent walking and standing rather than sitting.

Pay

$16 per hour.
