Responsibilities
- Leads the design and development of complex computer information systems, including system configurations, software programs, database structures, and network infrastructure.
- Demonstrates expertise in programming languages, database management systems, and operating systems.
- Led efforts to maintain system documentation, including requirements and design documentation, testing plans or automation, user manuals, technical specifications, and system diagrams.
- Displays a strong attention to detail and the ability to organize and communicate complex technical information effectively.
- Provides end-user support by responding to service desk requests and resolving technical issues.
- Troubleshoots hardware and software problems, installs software updates, provides appropriate user access, and provides in-depth training to end-users.
- Leads collaboration with system users across multiple application areas to determine how to best support them through the effective use of technology.
- Investigates the need for additional services, programs, modules or modifications.
- Leads cross-functional teams in the requirements, design, development and implementation of new systems and processes.
- Exhibit strong leadership and communication skills, as well as expertise in system integration and project management.
- Manages relationships with vendors and external partners, ensuring that they deliver quality products and services.
- Maintain strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Mentors and trains junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree and 3-5 years experience in the user areas to be supported or related fields. Leadership experience preferred.
- or Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years experience in the user areas to be supported or related fields. Leadership experience preferred.
- or Associate's Degree and 7 or more years experience in the user areas to be supported or related fields. Leadership experience preferred.
- or HS diploma or equivalent and 9 years' experience in the user areas to be supported or related fields. Leadership experience preferred.
