IT Application Analyst - Lead

Role: Lead IT Application Analyst in the Clinical Documentation Team within the EHR Technology Hospital and Specialty Solutions Unit. Responsibilities: Provide operational and technical leadership for inpatient documentation systems, ensuring data accuracy and workflow optimization. Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to improve data quality, develop team capabilities, and support Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation applications. Manage software systems, oversee system implementation and integration projects, and serve as a liaison between clinical, business, and technical areas. Conduct system analysis, design, testing, and deployment, while maintaining industry knowledge to inform strategy. Create test plans, mentor staff, and support operational planning. May provide on-call support as needed. Qualifications: Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience including 3 years of leadership, or bachelor’s with 8+ years, or associate’s with 10+ years. Vendor application certification may be required. Preferred qualification includes EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation expertise. Skills & Qualities: Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building abilities. Expertise in healthcare IT systems, project management, and process improvement. Ability to manage projects independently and coordinate cross-functional teams.
