Responsibilities
- Ensure 100% of students have high-quality testing environments for district, state, and national assessments.
- Attend 100% of scheduled trainings with the national Assessment Team and actively participate in learning (e.g., TEAMS group, newsletters, manuals).
- Create and communicate campus testing plans for all assessments to managers, lead teams, teachers, and staff, adhering to national Assessment Team timelines.
- Coordinate with campus IT to ensure all testing computers are updated and ready prior to test day.
- Ensure all testing coordinators and students have access to appropriate online testing systems.
- Prepare 100% of testing bins 72 hours in advance, including small-group testing materials and supplemental items from special programs.
- Review testing bin contents with proctors 2 days prior to testing to ensure proper implementation.
- Audit accommodations and supplemental materials with special population point persons (SPED, ELL, 504, RTI) before testing.
- Process and manage state assessment materials following district guidelines, including check-in/check-out with the national Assessment Team.
- Audit 100% of paper state test booklets and answer documents with a test-security trained lead team member to verify student information.
- Execute 100% of deliverables requested by the national Assessment Team (e.g., data reporting, student counts, computer needs).
- May serve as the designated ACT, PSAT, or AP Coordinator for the school.
- Maintain fewer than 5 procedural irregularities and 3 serious testing irregularities per school for state and national assessments.
- Lead campus testing training to teach staff assessment policies and procedures.
- Schedule biweekly meetings with special population point persons to ensure accommodations are entered/updated in systems (e.g., ELLevation, TestHound) by deadlines.
- Meet with test proctors at least 2 days before testing to ensure proper implementation of accommodations and compliance with state/federal guidelines.
- Oversee testing sessions to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Provide and solicit feedback from test support staff, proctors, and leaders after each session to improve future testing experiences.
- Set up and monitor online testing systems to ensure 100% of students test in the correct format with approved accommodations.
- Partner with campus IT to prepare 100% of equipment for online assessments 48 hours in advance.
- Lead investigations of testing irregularities and report incidents to the national Assessment Team by close of business the day they occur.
- Ensure 95% completion rates for all assessments by deadlines on the assessment calendar.
- Grant teachers and leaders access to assessment systems for data analysis.
- Update Illuminate Permission Groups to ensure teachers of record have access to district exams.
- Serve as the primary point person for all testing systems and train/support their use at the campus level.
- Monitor scanning of assessments to meet the 95% multiple-choice component scanning requirement within 24 hours of testing.
- Track and monitor testing to ensure 100% of eligible students complete all applicable assessments.
