About the role
The Testing Coordinator supports the mission of IDEA Public Schools by ensuring all students take appropriate tests in a conducive environment. They collaborate with campus partners to accommodate eligible tests with approved accommodations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure 100% of students take all appropriate tests in a standardized environment.
- Work with campus partners to ensure all eligible tests are taken with approved accommodations.
- Attend 100% of scheduled trainings with the national Assessment Team.
- Owning learning by actively participating in the TC TEAMS group and scheduled trainings, reviewing training materials, and managing testing plans.
- Create and communicate the campus testing plan to managers, lead teams, teachers, and staff.
- Communicate testing schedules and updates to students' parents/families.
- Coordinate with campus IT technician to ensure all computers are updated and ready for test day.
- Prepare and communicate the testing plan to all relevant parties.
- Manage state assessment materials and check them in and out from the National Assessment Team.
- Audit state test booklets and answer documents for accuracy.
- Process and manage state assessment materials according to district guidelines.
- Execute all deliverables requested by the National Assessment Team.
- Lead campus testing training to teach staff policies and procedures.
- Schedule meetings with special point persons and test proctors to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Monitor and report on irregularities and provide feedback to improve testing experiences.
- Ensure 98% completion rates of all assessments by deadlines.
- Support teachers and leaders in accessing and administering tests, and analyzing student data.
- Monitor and track the scanning of assessments to ensure the campus meets the 95% multiple choice component scan requirement.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma; 48+ College Credit hours preferred.
- Experience in educational settings preferred, but testing experience valued.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.).
Skills
- Superior organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
