Tester - Manual

About the role

Creates test cases based on business requirements, user processes, vendor documentation, and solution design specifications. Ensures business systems meet client standards and end-user requirements as directed by management. Contributes to routine and ad hoc test summary reports.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes input and output of test data.
• Identifies discrepancies between requirements and expected results.
• Raises, tracks, and re-tests defects and enhancements.
• Ensures a wide scope of quality assurance testing measures are utilized on new or existing applications.
• Uses automated test tools and automates testing where reasonable.
• Participates in the testing of new or enhanced applications.
• Reports progress on problem resolution and testing defects to managers.
• Analyzes current procedures and workflows and develops recommendations for improvements.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior Client experience, especially with an effort to modernize a legacy system to a cloud system, would be highly valuable.
• Minimum of two years related work experience, with at least one year of testing experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Ability to learn new business domains and new applications quickly.
• Experience with JIRA, AWS, and MS Excel.

Pay

$40 - 50 per hour
