Responsibilities
- Build high-quality wire harnesses, PCBAs, test racks, robotics, and environmental simulation equipment
- Support production and qualification by troubleshooting hardware and software, updating documentation, training line technicians, and performing schedule maintenance
- Manage workload in order to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and respond to critical requests
- Interpret a variety of sources ranging from controlled, released documentation to informal sketches
- Identify design gaps; ask directed questions, and apply skill and experience to resolve them, and update documentation to prevent recurrence
- Maintain clean, stocked, and orderly work area
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years of experience in electromechanical assembly
- Associate degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience with hardware testing
- Hands-on experience fabricating and debugging harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies, printed circuit board assemblies, and test stations
- Excellent attention to detail and insistence on verifying work
- Basic knowledge of electronics theory and principles
- Experience with NASA STD 8739.4, IPC-620, and J-STD-001 qualifications
- Experience with electromechanical build processes including iron & hot-air soldering; wire crimping and stripping; machine and hand drilling, shaping, cutting, and joining; 3D plastic printing
- Electrical debug tools including multimeter, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer
- Experience with software including: Windows and Linux operating systems; SVN and git configuration control; JIRA, Confluence, and TeamCenter content management systems; Altium, Mentor, NX computer-aided design; Python and BASH scripting; text-based and graphical user interfaces; hand truck and forklift

- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching are generally required to perform the functions of this position
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay Range Level 1: $23.00 - $29.00
- Pay Range Level 2: $28.00 - $34.50
- Pay Range Level 3: $33.00 - $40.00

- LENGTH OF POSITION: 3 MONTHS
- LOCATION: Redmond, WA
- SHIFT: 1st shift: 5 AM - 3:30 PM
