Maintenance Technician
Overview
The Maintenance Technician job is for a skilled professional who excels in problem-solving and working within a team. This position is available within an apartment community where the technician will handle various tasks including HVAC repairs, plumbing installations, carpentry work, painting, electrical/appliance maintenance, and machinery repair.
Skilled Requirements
- Repairs and cleans HVAC systems
- Replaces and installs plumbing fixtures and parts
- Repairs and installs doors, shelves, countertops, locks, etc.
- Performs drywall/plaster repairs and painting
- Replaces lighting, wiring, power circuits, and switches
- Maintains chillers, belts, pumps, fans, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience in Commercial Property or Multi-Unit Residential Property
- Preferred certifications in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing
- Valid driver's license may be required based on property needs
- Self-motivated, team-player, strong communication, interpersonal, attention to detail, customer service, and personal accountability skills
- Ability to work weekends - Saturdays and Sundays
- Computer and smartphone literacy required
- Clear and effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing
- Multilingual skills are a plus
Compensation
Commensurate with Experience: $20.75 - 29.05 hourly
