Test Technician I

Responsibilities
- Conducting tests and inspections on components, products and systems as part of manufacturing process.
- Maintaining accurate records of test results and product performance.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with products and systems.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Light assembly of tooling setup.
- Testing and calibration of force/torque sensor systems.
- Lifting and hanging calibration weights per scripted calibration program.
- Recording results for each sensor system.
- Attempts to troubleshoot any issues, using technical knowledge.
- Participates in conversations with engineering personnel to resolve calibration issues.
- Maintains production machines and equipment, cleans equipment, and ensures the work floor is clean, safe, and well maintained.
Requirements
- Electro-mechanical assembly skills.
- Electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.
- Hands-on experience with calibrated equipment.
- Ability to lift 50 pound weights.
- Ability to read and interpret various forms of documentation including assembly drawings and work instructions.
- Computer skills; Windows navigation, Word to view files, enter data in Excel, PowerPoint to view files, Outlook for email communication and calendar, Teams for communications, ERP system navigation, view PDF files, and ability to operate custom test software.
- Apply Lean principles for daily continuous improvements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Some postsecondary education, preferred.
- Read and communicate in English.
Skills

Pay
The base pay for this position is $34,960 to $55,955 per year depending on the geographic market.
