Test Technician

Seeking a Test Technician for a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. This is a contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment.

About the role

You’ll play a key part in assembling and/or testing cutting-edge products and systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and RF testing on systems, sub-assemblies, and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment.
• Work from Process/Work Instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Use various measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements.
• Document accurate data records and results in test databases, generate reports, and assist in improving test procedures.
• Basic troubleshooting and retesting of electronic assemblies.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve throughput and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills, including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred.
• Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment.
• Strong work ethic and a reputation for punctuality and reliability, with a desire to grow and learn.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Schedule

Day Shift, Full-Time (Monday–Thursday) 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with possibility for overtime.

Supplier will be required to start interim clearance process at offer stage.
