Pay

Hourly rate: $24.00 to $28.00. The rate range is a general guideline for a position based in Minnesota; actual offers consider candidate qualifications, relevant experience, position scope, and market factors.

Responsibilities

• With supervision, apply established principles and procedures to perform standard, routine technical activities relating to the manufacture and test of products in a frequently time-sensitive environment.
• Perform set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Determine and may develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
• Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.
• Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
• Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a technical-related field is preferred but not required.
• 2 to 4 years' experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Previous experience with set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies is an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience reading drawings and blueprints.
• Frequent standing.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be a US Person.
