About the role
The Test Technician will be a part of a team testing ejection seats and other aerospace and defense technologies. The team performs test operations at a supersonic rocket track, and this individual will support the test team with the wide variety of tasks needed for these projects.
What you will do
- Maintain and repair facilities including water lines, buildings, etc.
- Operating equipment such as forklifts, backhoes, and road graders
- Loading and unloading rocket motors from test sleds
- Cleaning and maintaining test track
- Support building, maintaining and upgrading test equipment and fixtures
Qualifications you must have
- Experience in a trade, facility maintenance, mechanical or aerospace repairs and maintenance
- Experience with office computer software packages
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with organizing and multi-tasking
- Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications we prefer
- Experience operating heavy equipment, including rough terrain cranes
- Mechanical training or experience repairing vehicles and/or equipment
- Experience with fabrication via welding or machining
- Experience working in R&D, test environments or with ejection seats

The salary range for this role is 41,400 USD - 72,600 USD.
