Role Overview

This position reports to: Production Manager

Responsibilities

  • Conduct testing and inspections during the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Execute the assigned work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines.
  • Report any non-compliance.
  • Showcase expertise by performing tests or checks by following procedures and instructions defined in manuals and test scripts.
  • Perform physical pre-testing activities for newly developed products to ensure product quality and validate manufacturing processes.
  • Aid the team in performing all required checks as part of the Factory Acceptance Testing process.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot any identified issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate testing records, data, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality management systems.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of relevant experience is required; Analytical Instrumentation Technology Associate of Applied Science would be a plus.
  • 2+ Years of Experience in Analyzers or Sample Systems is preferred; Electrical Systems Checkout experience would also be a plus.
  • Candidates must already have permanent work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
