Test Team Lead
About the role
Leidos’ Defense Systems, Systems Integration and Test Team is seeking an Integration Engineer Team Lead. This role involves working directly with the customer and contractors to execute program requirements, creating, modifying, and executing test plans, completing requirements verification and validation documentation and reports, coordinating test personnel and equipment across multiple events, and briefing both internal and external parties on test results and data.
Responsibilities
- Working directly with the customer and contractors to execute program requirements.
- Creating, modifying, and executing test plans to satisfy program requirements.
- Completing requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
- Cooking personnel and equipment across multiple events.
- Working directly with OEMs and internal manufacturers to reliably get products to market.
- Briefing both internal and external parties on test results and data.
- May require working outside in all weather conditions and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- May require minimal travel for test events (approximately 4 weeks a year).
Requirements
- An ABET accredited B.S. or equivalent degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or systems engineering with 4+ years of experience or 2+ years with MS degree.
- Knowledge of and experience with defense or commercial test engineering practices and processes.
- Experience developing and executing hardware or software test plans and procedures.
- Direct, hands-on experience with hardware, software, or system integration, troubleshooting, and testing.
- Eligibility to obtain/maintain a secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Five to eight years of experience with test planning and execution.
- Working knowledge and operation of electronic test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, voltmeter, signal analyzer/generator).
- Working knowledge of software languages such as Python, C, C++, C#, and firmware languages for Xilinx or Altera devices.
- Experience with Linux, Matlab, Labview, and WireShark.
- Experience preparing and presenting briefings and/or demonstrations to customers and management.
- Experience planning and executing demonstration tests and US Gov't test ranges/facilities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $87,100.00 - $157,450.00. Pay and benefits are fundamental to any career decision.
