The Test Engineering Manager position at Crestron encompasses a Subject Matter Expert role in the management cycle of production test systems used in our electronics manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for providing direction to test engineering teams creating complex test plans or test software, designing test equipment, selecting and procuring instrumentation, developing fixtures, supervising the assembly of test systems, implementing automation, writing procedures, and deployment/sustaining support.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction primarily focused on the design for testability and procurement of Functional System Test production test fixtures used in our electronics manufacturing facilities.
- Management of the team responsible for Functional Test development.
- Lead the development of production test systems for Crestron’s product lines on areas of responsibility
- Collaborate in the creation of test strategies, test procedures, test platforms and test specifications
- Create and support department software tools and systems that will help drive continuous improvement on quality of delivered test solutions through trend reporting analysis and metrics management
- Assist other test engineering teams and design engineering teams to test and debug product FW features interacting with test software tools
- Forecast software needs in conjunction with Test and Engineering PM’s in preparation for future NPI’s requiring specific software features or new hardware drivers
- Work closely with design engineering to test and debug product features during new product introduction
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in EE, Electronics required
- Master's degree in EE, MBA preferred
- 6-8 years Functional/System Test Development Hands On experience
- Strong knowledge in TestStand, LabView, C++, C
Pay
The annual pay range for this position is $130,500 - $187,000, which consists of base salary (subject to performance), and reflects the hiring range for candidates.
