Responsibilities

Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment. Responsibilities may include:

• Support characterization, validation, and production testing of mixed-signal and analog semiconductor devices using Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
• Analyze wafer sort and final test data to identify yield trends, electrical failures, and opportunities for test optimization
• Assist in debugging test hardware, probe cards, load boards, and test programs to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency
• Collaborate with product, design, and manufacturing engineers to investigate issues and perform root cause analysis on failing devices
• Execute bench-level electrical testing using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators to validate device performance
• Develop Python, LabView and Excel-based automation tools for data analysis, report generation, and test result tracking
• Perform correlation studies between characterization and production test environments to ensure measurement accuracy and test consistency
• Document test procedures, debugging findings, and engineering reports to support product qualification and release activities
• Support new product introduction (NPI) activities by evaluating engineering samples and validating test coverage
• Contribute to yield improvement initiatives through statistical analysis of test data and identification of manufacturing process variations

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Basic understanding of semiconductor devices, electronic circuits, and testing methodologies
• Classwork or experience with Analog/RF Signal Fundamentals is preferred
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators
• Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB is a plus
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, wafer sort, or automated test equipment (ATE) is preferred
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies and processes
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Pay

Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr – $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location). Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
