Test Engineer Associate

Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
Responsibilities
- Developing test cases and test procedures to verify product functionality
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements
- Utilizing your expertise in Linux, test case architectures, run log analysis, and bash scripting to design and execute comprehensive testing protocols
- Analyzing test results and identifying areas for improvement
- Writing and executing software test procedures
- Presenting test analysis or test procedures to customer/stakeholders
Requirements
- DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position or higher
- Knowledge or experience with verification of test objectives
- Knowledge or experience with writing and executing software test procedures
- Knowledge of Linux/RedHat or equivalent
Qualifications
- Experience and/or knowledge of Linux, test case architectures, run log analysis, and bash scripting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a geographically distributed team
- Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $58,200.00 - $108,200.00
The salary range is a general guideline. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, as well as market (work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.
