About the Role
This position involves conducting aptitude examination sessions for both enlistment and student tests, overseeing test security, and coordinating facility use to ensure a controlled testing environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct specified aptitude examination sessions ranging in size from 1 to 40 persons (enlistment tests) and 1 to 250 persons (student tests).
- Instruct applicants on testing procedures and start, observe, time, and end tests or test segments as directed.
- Utilize computer systems and software to administer computer-based enlistment and student aptitude tests.
- Oversee security and accountability of student test booklets at home, during transport, and at the testing location.
- Coordinate use of facilities to ensure adequacy of testing environment, test room control, and test security measures.
- Transfer controlled test material and equipment (up to 30 lbs) to and from authorized storage facilities to testing sites, as required.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must possess a valid driver's license to conduct tests in remote locations or at schools.
- This position requires 100% travel away from the duty station to conduct testing in remote locations or at schools.
Qualifications
Open to US Citizens. To qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below:
- General Experience: One year of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed, such as:
- Presenting oral instructions to individuals and/or groups.
- Conducting thorough checks to ensure forms are properly completed.
- Utilizing automated systems to provide reports/information to others.
- Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college, or university.
- Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify if the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Foreign Education: If using education completed in foreign colleges or universities, you must show credentials evaluated by a private organization specializing in interpretation of foreign education programs, confirming equivalence to a U.S. education program.
