About the Role
This position involves maintaining order and a smooth environment for groups of up to 250 applicants. The role requires instructing applicants on testing procedures, administering computer-based enlistment and student aptitude tests, and ensuring the security and accountability of test booklets during transport and at testing locations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain order and a smooth environment for groups of up to 250 applicants.
- Instruct applicants on testing procedures; start, observe, time, and end tests or test segments as directed.
- Administer computer-based enlistment and student aptitude tests using computer systems and software.
- Ensure the security and accountability of student test booklets at home, during transport, and at testing locations.
- Conduct testing in remote locations or at schools, requiring 100% travel away from the duty station.
- Lift up to 30 lbs. to transfer controlled test material and equipment to/from authorized storage facilities and testing sites.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must possess a valid driver's license to conduct tests in remote locations or at schools.
- Must complete and receive a favorable determination from required background checks.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Qualifications
To qualify, you must meet one of the following requirements:
- General Experience: One year of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that demonstrates the ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position. Examples include:
- Presenting oral instructions to individuals and/or groups.
- Conducting thorough checks to ensure forms are properly completed.
- Utilizing automated systems to provide reports/information to others.
- Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college, or university.
- Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify if the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute:
- Divide total months of experience by 12.
- Divide semester hours of education by 60.
- Add the two percentages.
Foreign Education: If using education completed in foreign colleges or universities, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization specializing in the interpretation of foreign education programs and deemed equivalent to U.S. accredited education.
