Territory Service Manager
About the role
National Carwash Solutions is seeking a Territory Service Manager (TSM) to lead a team of field employees in Southern California. The TSM is responsible for providing operational and tactical solutions, ensuring profitability, and maintaining customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a team of 12-15 employees who perform preventive maintenance and repairs at customer locations
- Manage scheduling and training of field service technicians and chemical delivery specialists
- Set performance goals for the team and coach and guide them to meet these goals
- Lead daily operations, monitor expenses, revenue, and margin targets, and prepare budgets
- Communicate with customers and travel to assigned locations to promote good customer relations, ensure quality service, and secure contracts
- Resolve or escalate customer issues and internal concerns as necessary
- Conduct quality control checks, site safety audits, and damage claim assessments
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in field service, with at least 3 years managing an electro-mechanical team
- Proven ability to train, organize, lead, and motivate a team to succeed
- Strong business acumen, including understanding of P&L, financials, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong electrical-mechanical skills
- Strategic thinker with a proven track record in problem-solving and analysis
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google
- Strong negotiation skills
- Willingness and ability to travel overnight within the Southern California territory
- Valid California Driver's License (or valid driver's license in state of residence; CA DL required if based in CA)
- Clean driving record meeting NCS policy; consent to participate in the California DMV Employer Pull Notice (EPN) Program
- Six Sigma and/or Lean certification is a plus
- Knowledge of carwash equipment preferred
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Regular travel, including overnight stays, within the Southern California territory
- Extended walking, standing, bending, and climbing
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, water, and cleaning chemicals
- Lift and carry up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Operate a company vehicle safely in compliance with NCS driving policy
Pay, Benefits & Application Information
Target Salary Range: $92,186-115,232. Actual compensation is determined by experience, education, and geographic location. The salary range above reflects NCS's good-faith estimate of the compensation range expected to be paid upon hire for this role, in compliance with California Labor Code Section 432.3 and SB 642 (effective January 1, 2026).
This is an exempt, fill-time position. Incentive Pay: Not eligible for an annual performance-based bonus. Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision; HSA/FSA; matching 401(k); Basic Life/AD&D; and Long-term/Short-term disability. Paid Leave: Competitive PTO and holiday pay. Employees accrue paid sick leave in accordance with the CO Healthy Families and Workplaces Act, and the CA Healthy Workplaces, Healthy Families Act.

Transportation: This position involves the regular operation of a company-provided vehicle.
