About the role

A Trupanion Territory Partner serves as a consultant to Trupanion and is the exclusive representative for our pet health insurance product within the West Houston Market. This is not a franchise or brokerage. There are no franchise fees and this business does not necessitate a brick-and-mortar operation. As a business owner, you can expect to invest one thousand dollars per month in the first year as you get started.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a consultant to Trupanion
• Be the exclusive representative for Trupanion's pet health insurance product within the West Houston Market
• Build relationships and educate veterinarians, vet techs, and office staff about the benefits of Trupanion insurance
• Expand the Territory Partner network and increase direct marketing to veterinarians

Requirements

• Entrepreneurial spirit and drive
• Commitment to building a business from the ground up
• Ability to invest one thousand dollars per month in the first year as you get started
• Time, travel, food, and refreshments for hospital "lunch and learn" sessions
• No franchise fees and no need for a brick-and-mortar operation

Pay

Commission-based compensation with monthly residual income. Each new policy that activates within your exclusive region generates a $10 commission. After enrollment, our Territory Partners receive monthly residual income for all active policies in the region, with an average policy life span of over 73 months.
