Territory Representative

About the role

Ecolab is seeking a Territory Representative to join our Global Food Retail Services team in Pensacola, FL. This customer-facing role involves delivering Ecolab’s industry-leading cleaning and sanitation programs, identifying food safety risks, and preventing the spread of foodborne illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain equipment and collateral to ensure proper function and appearance
• Complete food safety audits based on the customer’s required visit frequency and evaluate each department for compliance
• Facilitate the sale of Ecolab products by making suggestions for improvements with existing products and new innovations
• Train customers on use of Ecolab products and services
• Maintain positive relationships with customers by evaluating their needs with a focus on sales opportunities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4 years of outside sales or industry-related (foodservice, hospitality, etc.) experience
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions
• Availability to provide emergency call assistance which may occur at night, on weekends and over holidays

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Mechanical experience (plumbing, electrical)
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment
• Food safety knowledge/experience or CP-FS certification
• Military experience
• Previous business-to-business sales experience

Pay

The total Compensation range for this position is $58,700-$88,100 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms.

Schedule

This is a field-based position and may require travel to the following locations and surrounding areas: Pensacola FL, Mobile AL, Fort Walton Beach FL, Destin FL, Panama City FL, Crestview FL. Overnight travel: 2-4 overnights per month. Weekend coverage: Responsible for weekend coverage 1 in every 26 weeks.
