Territory Manager – UniFirst First Aid + Safety

UniFirst First Aid + Safety is seeking a reliable Territory Manager to service and manage customer relationships across an assigned territory. The role involves daily route-based sales and service using a company vehicle, with on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent and timely service to customers in your territory
• Service 10–15 customers per day in a company vehicle
• Accommodate customer needs with products that provide a safe, pleasant, and productive workplace
• Organize and implement a “work plan” for maximizing daily sales and decreasing mileage between calls
• Maintain an adequate supply of promotional materials, flyers, and business cards
• Maintain a call average consistent with current company objectives
• Submit paperwork in a timely manner (work orders, call reports, vehicle maintenance reports)
• Keep handheld computer data updated and in compliance with company policy
• Stay current on all price changes and sell accordingly
• Maintain consistent paper flow by avoiding errors on submitted paperwork
• Maintain adequate vehicle stock and rotate inventory accordingly
• Adhere to the company vehicle maintenance schedule and policy
• Understand and comply with all company policies
• Carry proper tools and supplies (anchors, screws, screwdrivers, hammer, charged drill) for on-site equipment installation
• Maintain a clean company vehicle inside and out to promote a good company image
• Manage geographical territory and notify management of any territory problems
• Promote growth by continuously making cold calls and developing new business
• Stay informed about competitive companies, their products, and prices
• Continuously gain knowledge of First Aid + Safety products
• Share pertinent pricing and product information with other employees during sales meetings

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid non-commercial driver’s license with a safe driving record
• 1–3 years of B2B sales experience or equivalent preferred
• Basic computer and tablet skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Schedule

Standard 5-day work week (up to 40 hours) with two days off per week.
