Business DevelopmentFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? Actually the posting includes description. We need headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections if there is real specific content. We need to parse the posting. Content: - Company description: "Innovative Sensor Technology IST AG, a Swiss company within the globally active Endress+Hauser Group, is a leading provider of physical, chemical, and biological sensors. For the further expansion of our high-tech company, which employs approximately 550 employees worldwide. Whether developing and realizing new technology as a team, collaborating to build sensors and modules, or strengthening vital relationships with countless global industries, we work to create trusted relationships that help everyone thrive. We are currently looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join our group for our iST US location based in Las Vegas. The role is to support the Sales Team with driving sales efforts and implementation of strategies to grow the business and customer footprint in the geographical area. This role is remote and must be in the southern US, preferably close to a metropolitan area such as Tampa, FL., Dallas, TX., Atlanta, GA." - "What is the role about?" paragraph: describes implementing/executing strategic, operational and distributor sales plans, act as key sales contact, facilitating customer inquiries for technical development, supports mid-level engineering projects, promotes iST’s highly advanced engineered standard and customized solutions in temperature, flow, conductivity, humidity, micro-heaters, bio product groups. - "What tasks will you perform?" list of duties (bulleted). We'll put under Responsibilities. - "What do we expect form you?" includes required and preferred. We'll separate Requirements (required) and Qualifications (preferred?) Actually Qualifications could be required? Usually Requirements = required qualifications. Qualifications = preferred? But we can treat Requirements as required, Qualifications as preferred. Or we could combine. The instruction: Use headings for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Skills). So we need to map. - "What can you expect from us?" includes benefits: family-owned, comprehensive benefit package (medical, dental, vision; paid by company), 401(k) with match, life insurance, AD&D, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, competitive compensation includes bonus opportunities, generous paid time off, tuition reimbursement, development opportunities. - Pay: Not explicitly stated; only "Competitive compensation and includes bonus opportunities." That's vague but maybe we can include Pay section? The instruction: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. It does state compensation (competitive compensation includes bonus opportunities). That's somewhat specific? It says competitive compensation and includes bonus opportunities. That's not a specific number but it's stating compensation. I think we can include Pay section with that statement. However "competitive compensation" is vague but still a statement about pay. The instruction says: never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text (e.g. "commensurate with experience", "not specified", "N/A", "varies", "TBD") and never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them. "Competitive compensation and includes bonus opportunities" is not filler like "commensurate with experience"? It's still vague but it's a statement. I'd include Pay section with that sentence. - Schedule: Not mentioned. No schedule info. So omit Schedule. - Skills: Could extract from required/preferred: ability to network effectively, comfort speaking in group, travel up to 40%, legally work in US, knowledge of passive sensors measurement, PCB/module solutions, solution-oriented personality, hands-on mentality, familiarity in sales development methods, ability to integrate business/customer needs into products, collaborate with global sales/dev team, professional, communicative, motivated. Could put under Skills. - About the role: Could be the initial description plus "What is the role about?" maybe combine. We need to avoid repeating job title as heading. So no heading for Territory Sales Manager. We need to use

for section headings. We need to use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. We need to use

for prose. We need to preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. We need to remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. At end there is "How do you apply? To apply, we kindly ask you to upload your documents on our career page. Endress+Hauser is an equal opportunity employer..." That's application instructions and EEO boilerplate; remove. Also remove duplicated lines? Not seeing duplicates. Now craft HTML. Sections: - About the role: combine company description and role about paragraph. Maybe:

    About the role

Innovative Sensor Technology IST AG, a Swiss company within the globally active Endress+Hauser Group, is a leading provider of physical, chemical, and biological sensors. This role is remote and must be in the southern US, preferably close to a metropolitan area such as Tampa, FL., Dallas, TX., Atlanta, GA.

This role at iST focuses on implementing and executing strategic, operational and distributor sales plans that align with company growth objectives and drive revenue growth. This individual will act as a key sales contact, facilitating customer inquiries for the technical development of sensors and modules from our portfolio, supports mid-level engineering projects, and promotes iST’s highly advanced, engineered standard and customized solutions in the temperature, flow, conductivity, humidity, micro-heaters, bio product groups.

    - Responsibilities: list tasks.

    Responsibilities

    • Proactively produces and implements sales plans and initiatives to cultivate new and current customer base
    • Develops and updates sales funnel for respective geographical area
    • Partners with sales team to develop new avenues and execute strategies to gain sales development
    • Visits targeted customer base to determine purposes and create custom or standard sensing solutions / modules for expanding regional brand for iST and its offering
    • Establishes products, solutions and projects within the software platforms used to create milestones and performance indicators for sales and management within iST
    • Provide support as a technical resource for sales related inquiries, propose solutions or manufacturing methods to ensure product is fit for purpose and result
    • Work with development team to ensure products met all customer and industry requirements
    • Monitor, collaborate and prioritize projects that are in development and keep customers abreast of progress
    • Implements, aligns and manages sales activities to ensure short and long-term sales objectives
    • Distribute info on market trends and sales influencers to sales and management as found
    • Additional duties as assigned
    - Requirements: required qualifications.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical field or natural sciences
    • At least 5-7 years of related technical sales experience
    • Ability to network effectively to expand the customer outreach and collaboration
    • Comfort in dynamically speaking in a group setting or during a presentation
    • Travel required: up to 40%
    • Must be able to legally work in the United States
    - Qualifications: preferred.

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of passive sensors measurement, PCB and/or module solutions: Temperature, humidity, flow, micro heaters and conductivity measurement principles experience is a plus
    • Solution-oriented personality with a pronounced hands-on mentality within a team-based environment, with familiarity in sales development methods and execution
    • Strong solution orientation with ability to integrate business/customer needs into products with technical realization through collaboration with development team
    • Collaborate with the global sales and development team to ensure effective and transparent product selection and application information for future replication
    • Professional, communicative and motivated within a global collaborative and analytical environment
    - Skills: maybe combine some overlapping but we can still list skills not already covered? Could list: technical sales, networking, presentation, travel, legal work eligibility, sensor knowledge, solution orientation, hands-on, collaboration, communication, motivation. But we might duplicate. However instruction: preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. If we already listed those under Requirements/Qualifications, we could still list them under Skills but that would be duplication. Better to not duplicate; we can omit Skills section if its content is already covered. But we need to decide if we should include Skills heading with some unique skills not already listed. The posting didn't have a separate "Skills" bullet; the skills are embedded in requirements/qualifications. So we could omit Skills section to avoid thin sections. The instruction: Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So we can omit Skills. - Benefits: list.

    Benefits

    • Family-owned, highly committed global company with a sustainable vision of the future
    • Comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental, vision; paid by company
    • 401(k) savings with company match
    • Life insurance, AD&D and Short-term disability benefits paid by company
    • Additional voluntary benefits available as well
    • Competitive compensation and includes bonus opportunities
    • Generous paid time off
    • Tuition reimbursement and a wide range of development opportunities
    - Pay: we could include but we already have compensation in Benefits. However Pay section is separate; we could still include Pay with the competitive compensation statement. But that would duplicate. Better to keep Pay omitted and rely on Benefits for compensation. The instruction says include Pay section only if posting actually states them. It does state competitive compensation. But we already have that in Benefits. Could still have Pay section with that sentence, but it's redundant. I'd omit Pay to avoid thin duplication. - Schedule: none. Thus final HTML includes About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Benefits. Check that we didn't repeat job title as heading. Good. Check that we didn't include any boilerplate like "How do you apply?" etc. Removed. Check that we preserved all substantive information: company description, role about, tasks, required, preferred, benefits. Did we miss any detail? Let's verify. Original posting details: - Company description: included. - Location: remote, must be in southern US, preferably close to metropolitan area such as Tampa, FL., Dallas, TX., Atlanta, GA. Included in About the role paragraph. - Role purpose: support Sales Team with driving sales efforts and implementation of strategies to grow business and customer footprint. Included. - What is the role about: included. - What tasks will you perform: list included. - What do we expect form you? Required: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical field or natural sciences and at least 5-7 years of related technical sales experience; Ability to network effectively to expand the customer outreach and collaboration; Comfort in dynamically speaking in a group setting or during a presentation; Travel required: up to 40%; Must be able to legally work in the United States. Included. - Preferred: Knowledge of passive sensors measurement, PCB and/or module solutions: Temperature, humidity, flow, micro heaters and conductivity measurement principles experience is a plus; Solution-oriented personality with a pronounced hands-on mentality within a team-based environment, with familiarity in sales
