About the role
As a Territory Manager for the Minnesota territory, you will plan and execute sales targets and activities across Minnesota, parts of Wisconsin, the Dakotas, and Iowa for the Interventional Oncology portfolio. Your focus will be on increasing sales with Interventional Radiology and surgical customers to achieve defined commercial targets.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory.
- Build and manage relationships with current customers, identify new customers, and develop relationships for the purpose of selling assigned Varian products in the Interventional Oncology field.
- Under minimal supervision, perform all sales functions in assigned territory, including:
- Analyzing territory for sales potential.
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
- Maintaining appropriate level of territory coverage.
- Planning and executing effective sales calls.
- Scheduling and performing product demonstrations.
- Managing the sales order/quotation process.
- Serving as a consultative resource to customers.
- Achieving a superior level of overall customer satisfaction.
- Providing regular customer and market feedback to the company.
- Represent Siemens Healthineers ethics, values, and business practices with all internal and external constituents.
- Travel 40-50% of the time within the assigned territory (Minnesota, parts of Wisconsin, the Dakotas, and Iowa).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with some Post-Graduate work (or equivalent experience).
- 8 years of experience selling in the IO/IR space.
- Product knowledge and ability to conduct demonstrations.
- Industry knowledge.
- Required Certifications and Training:
- Complete LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility in addition to other healthcare trainings.
- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
- Must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary for full client access, which may include:
- Proof of valid identification (photo, driver’s license, SSN).
- Criminal background checks.
- Drug screens.
- Immunizations (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus).
- Annual TB testing.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license in the state of residence with no prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending charges, or other serious moving violations (unless prohibited by state/local law).

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $81,780 - $112,453. Factors affecting starting pay include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. This role includes a competitive, performance-based sales incentive plan that rewards strong performance.
