About the Role

As the Territory Manager for the Midwest Region, you will drive revenue growth by prospecting and acquiring new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. This proactive, results-driven role covers Illinois, NW Indiana, and Michigan.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential customers through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct market research to uncover new opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Present products and services via effective demonstrations and sales pitches.
  • Negotiate sales agreements, pricing, and contracts to secure deals.
  • Close sales and meet or exceed targets by understanding customer requirements and addressing concerns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in CRM software.
  • Coordinate with the sales team and other departments to ensure smooth delivery of products/services and address customer needs.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, quotas, and objectives set by leadership.
  • Continuously improve sales techniques, product knowledge, and interpersonal skills through training and self-development.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations in all sales activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (required).
  • 6–10 years of experience in sales, preferably in a similar industry or with comparable products/services (required).
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas (required).
  • Excellent persuasive and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
  • Resilience to handle rejection and setbacks while maintaining a positive, persistent approach.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage leads, follow-ups, and sales appointments efficiently.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software or sales tracking systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with the sales team and other departments to meet customer needs.
