Territory Manager

About the role

Territory Manager covering Northern New England, reporting to the Regional Sales Director. Responsible for managing the territory to achieve company goals, targeting and training key spine surgeons, coordinating hospital approval processes, and educating local communities of pain management physicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and performance to ensure company goals are achieved
• Target, qualify, and train key spine surgeons and schedule cases to implant the iFuse system
• Coordinate training of all local surgeons
• Meet goals and quotas communicated by the Regional Sales Director
• Engage with key opinion leaders in spine to drive company business and acceptance of SIJ diagnosis and treatment
• Coordinate the hospital approval process and referring surgeon education programs
• Perform all duties in compliance with worldwide regulatory requirements as outlined in the SI-BONE Quality Manual
• Act and conduct company business in an honest, ethical, and legal manner, complying with all applicable laws and regulations
• Establish rapport and solid working relationships with surgeons and all employees
• Manage travel and entertainment expenses responsibly within company budgets
• Work closely with sales management to align priorities and create urgency for successful outcomes
• Execute and refine clinical support, selling, referral education programs, and reimbursement strategy
• Provide necessary reporting materials and communicate effectively with management
• Develop rapport with key leaders in the spine field
• In-service and educate nurses, scrub technicians, and sterile processing departments on OR setup, instrument use, and sterilization parameters
• Consult with X-Ray Technicians to obtain required images during the iFuse surgical procedure
• Answer surgeon questions during the iFuse procedure
• Manage implant shelf life and instrument sets; return damaged or expired product to SI-BONE
• Provide information to operating room staff on implants and disposal items
• Hold product or Quality documentation from shipment if non-compliance with regulations is suspected and report to Quality/Regulatory and management
• Support the SI-BONE Quality System

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 5 years in a sales territory management position within a high-growth medical device organization, marketing products to medical specialty practices
• Experience in Orthopedics highly desired; spine experience a plus
• Experience working with local spine surgeons and product advocates
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work well with senior management
• Consistent career history of strong, effective leadership, self-starter attitude, and team building
• Positive, self-confident, decisive team member with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proactive problem-solver with initiative, perseverance, and openness to new ideas
• High integrity, sound character, tremendous work ethic, and passion to succeed
• Knowledge of applicable regulations/standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, EU MDR 2017/745, ISO 14971)

Pay

Base salary $75,000
