About the role
As a Territory Development Representative (TDR), you will play a vital role in driving the growth of our surgical robotics business.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential customers, including surgeons and hospitals.
- Utilize various channels (e.g., online research, industry events, cold calling, email campaigns) to generate new leads and expand the customer base.
- Qualify and engage leads by conducting effective, in-person sales presentations and demonstrations to educate prospects and understand their needs, challenges, and buying potential.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including surgeons, hospital administrators, and purchasing decision-makers.
- Maintain regular communication to ensure a positive customer experience and foster long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with Robotic Sales Representatives to transfer qualified leads and provide accurate and comprehensive lead information.
- Shepherd leads through the capital sales process by providing ongoing support, including assistance with market development events and logistics.
- Conduct product demonstrations for customers, including surgeons, nurses, operating room staff, and hospital administrators, to showcase the value of Aquablation Therapy.
- Aid in closing deals and achieving sales targets by providing technical expertise, understanding customer needs, and developing customized solutions.
- Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance.
- Understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS Policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the medical device or surgical sales industry.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of surgical procedures, robotics technology, and medical terminology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a busy sales schedule.
Qualifications
- Experience in life sciences or healthcare industry or a regulated (FDA) environment is a plus.
- Previous startup experience is a plus, and must have enthusiasm and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable).
Pay
$85,000 to $85,000
