Territory Account Manager - Post Acute - Texas (Central/South)
Job Summary
The Territory Account Manager is assigned a geographic region (Central/South Texas) to maintain and increase the sales of medical products, meet individual sales objectives, attend assigned trade and product shows, and work with distributor representatives as well as end users. They will be responsible for selling to distributors, dealers as well as servicing and selling to facilities in the territory, i.e., long-term care, rehabilitation centers, hospice, homecare, VAMC, state facilities, etc. Ideal candidate will live in Houston, Austin or San Antonio.
Essential Duties And Functions
- Develop an annual territory sales plan and provide quarterly updates to the Region Manager.
- Develop, maintain and expand customer base, follow up on leads and maintain key customer relationships. To accomplish this, the following departments are point-of-call: Executive Directors, Director of Nursing, Wound Care nurses, maintenance, biomed, prosthetics, OT/PT/KT, contracting officers, logistics, etc…
- Maintain and exceed sales objectives to achieve the established sales plan.
- Responsible for customer support for all product collateral (i.e., Samples, literature, etc.).
- Provide in-service education and training to all customers.
- Transport equipment to and from sales calls and trade shows including but not limited to beds, floor lifts, surfaces, etc.
- Serve as a resource for clinical programs and workshops within your territory as assigned.
- Support the Quality Policy, Quality System, and follow established procedures.
- Attend regional and national sales meetings as scheduled.
- Follow safety rules to protect yourself and company equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Work with all our national, regional, and local distributors.

Education, Experience & Training
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) required.
- 3 + years related work experience required.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- The position may require the ability to organize and facilitate the moving and setting up of hospital bed frames and surfaces. This includes lifting up to 200 pounds, rolling, taking beds on and off the dollies, and loading and unloading from the transport vehicle.
