Territory Account Manager - Industrial
What You Will Experience In This Position
- Drive specifications of Chemelex products and services at owner accounts.
- Pursue and secure projects involving product supply, engineering, and construction services.
- Customers include end users, engineering firms, and OEMs.
- Track project opportunities and manage customers in CRM system.
- Establish a winning strategy resulting in project awards.
- Coordinate with proposal/estimating groups, engineering, project management, and construction teams.
- Vigorous self-initiated sales call activity required.
- Some regional travel required (primary sales activity in Southeast Texas region with periodic travel to Houston home office).
- Chemelex will provide training for all new hires which may include formal training modules and/or on-the-job training.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of previous experience in or with Technical or Industrial sales.
- Previous experience in or with SalesForce or comparable CRM tool, Microsoft Office.
- Results-driven self-starter with a strong drive for success.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex products and solutions.
- Consultative/solution-based selling approach with the ability to identify customer needs and provide value-based recommendations.
- Highly organized with strong prioritization and time-management skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to ethical business practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and influence stakeholders.
- Able to perform job walk-downs and customer visits in industrial environments.
- Able to meet the physical and environmental demands associated with industrial facilities.
